Sister Lisa Marie Medland has lived in the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek area all her life. Lisa is the Speaking Coordinator for VCMI. She currently is a Dietary Service Specialist at Borgess Medical Center, and an Assistant Manager at Catherines.

Lisa started attending The Empowerment Center in 2014, and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior in September of that same year. Lisa is on fire for the Lord, has an unquenchable thirst for knowing the heart of God. Lisa has a desire to not only learn the Word of God, but to Be the Word. Lisa has not had a perfect life, but has found perfection in Jesus Christ, and has a testimony to share with everyone she meets. Lisa is excited to be stretched under the leadership of Aposlte Valarie Cunningham and looks to grow under the wisdom of this great woman of God . Ultimately Lisa desires to find her niche in the Body of Christ and fulfill her purpose in the Kingdom.
