Apostle Valarie Cunningham has co-led The Empowerment Center alongside her husband, Bishop Daniel Cunningham, for over 26 years. Her role in church administration, leadership, and curriculum development earned her consecration to the Office of Overseer and recognition as an Apostle under the Kingdom Apostolic Network in 2018. Apostle Cunningham is an entrepreneur, community leader, and kingdom builder, serving as a Prophetic Apostle and visionary leader of Valarie Cunningham Ministries International (VCMI).

VCMI, established in the USA in 2013 and launched internationally in Kenya, Africa in 2017, exemplifies her passion for ministry and equipping others. In 2007, she also founded the Kingdom Empowerment Institute, focused on leadership development through a five-fold approach. KEI has provided prophetic ministry for over a decade through Prophetic Presbytery Teams during Prophetic Awakening.

Beyond ministry, Apostle Cunningham is committed to improving her community, running for County Commissioner in the 2020 Election. She is also the CEO of The Synergy Health Center, a non-profit organization providing assistance to individuals with mental health, substance abuse, and housing needs. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor's of Business Administration and a Master's in Social Work from Western Michigan University, with an ongoing pursuit of a Doctorate in Ministry from Vision International. Apostle Cunningham finds immense joy in her family, including her husband of 28 years, Bishop Daniel Cunningham, and their young adult children, Phillip, Valorian, and Danielle. She was recently blessed with two grandsons, Rayden and Javonni.
